Emma's tea party

Celebrating Emma's Birthday With a Tea Party!

Celebrating Emma's Birthday With a Tea Party!

Emma had a tea party for her 7th birthday and at first I had no idea how to start. So I went online to find ideas and found this website that really made her special day wonderful.

My mother got her a tea set from England and the flowers from our local grocery store. My mother-in-law decorated the table and chairs. It was beautiful.

I wasn't sure about activities but came up with a few that were a hit. I decided on decorating hats for the girls to take home but couldn't find any little girl hats in our area, so I decided to make my own, little girl derby hats. When the girls arrived they picked a hat and got a mini pedicure, then proceeded to get in their dress up attire.

We had peppermint and lemon tea with cookies and petite fours. The girls then decorated their hats and played. It was lots of fun and something we will remember for a long time.

Thanks Rochelle for submitting Emma's tea party! It looks and sounds like it was a lot of fun. Emma is a doll...love those curls.

I am glad our site was a benefit for you while planning your daughter's party.

Happy Birthday, Emma!
Sheila

What a sweet idea!

Emma is such a doll. We like hearing what she did at her party, too. We have several girls who are delighted to see what she has done. They had a fun time at a tea party when they were taught how to make a beaded bracelet and then got to take it home as their very own!

Emma's Tea Party

What a delightful story. I love parties like this. I had a girl's tea party for my daughters once and it was so much fun. Emma has the boa and the hat to make a beautiful tea party! Makes me want to plan one just for fun. Maybe I will do this with my sisters and do a Ladies Tea Party.
