Funky Designer Tea Party

When the girls arrived, the tables were completely bare. We had several fabrics available in different sizes and patterns (think bright solids, zebra print, crazy prints, etc. ) so each group of girls designed their own table cover. Then they chose from various containers for flowers and designed their center pieces. I had purchased some brightly colored flowers from the grocery store and they all chose flowers for their table. Some were single blossoms floating, single flowers in small containers, or groups of flowers. We served a mixture of traditional and unusual treats at each course, and served three courses. Try serving Iced chai tea lattes instead of hot tea for one of the courses. At the end of the party, each girl got to take home a tea cup and saucer that I found at a local thrift store super cheap. Everyone had so much fun!!!!
