Your Kitchen Tea Ideas Helped Make A Convert Of Me!

by Mary
(Kansas, USA)

Comment:I just love your site! I am still not brave enough to host a bridal shower using your kitchen tea ideas, but wanted to let you know that your site has helped convert me away from a soft drink life!

Our family has even started venturing to the flavored and specialty teas. Our midwife was good enough to point us in the direction of herbal teas which really did help during pregnancy, but I had not thought of switching to tea until this last year. I'm really glad I did, too, because the main reason I would drink sodas was to have the caffeine, but I'm much fresher and ready to go using tea for the same reason! Thanks for all of the great ideas, too!

Response:Mary,
Thanks for your comment!

A kitchen tea is a smaller intimate bridal shower(for the bride, of course!) that is generally given to make sure she has all the little things she will need by her family and/or the groom's family, or by her bride's maids.

It is a wonderful thing to do just before the wedding, to make sure the couple has all the little things, and it is a nice reprieve in the rush-rush of the last week or so before the wedding. It is a time for the bride to spend a few relaxing hours with her closest family and friends, and I believe that when you have daughters getting married, you might look forward to planning one so you too can enjoy some calm peaceful hours with your daughter!

All you are learning about herbal tisanes and tea can help make a kitchen tea be a beautifully relaxing experience in the hectic days just before a wedding.
